Noise, the first obstacle to the experience
Spas, games rooms, theaters: elaborate volumes, noble materials, a sought-after atmosphere. Reverberation breaks the immersion and transforms relaxation into fatigue, silence into hubbub.
In a spa with too much reverberation, every step, every conversation resonates from one end of the room to the other. It's not a convenience issue, it's a customer experience issue.
Three reasons to act
Immersion first
Under 0,6 s reverberation, a performance or game room remains enveloping without being overwhelming. Beyond 1 s, each extraneous sound takes over the desired experience.
Staff fatigue
An entertainer, a manager or a ticket agent can be exposed to high background noise continuously over an entire day of activity. Limiting their turnover is essential.
Noise costs customers
A customer who cannot hear himself speak, a spa that we associate with hubbub rather than relaxation: untreated noise has a direct impact on reviews, return rates and word of mouth.
Before, after, measured
87 m² spa, tiled floor, concrete ceiling. 14 hanging clouds.
Before, after
Reverberation time according to the Sabine model. Results vary with volume, materials and use; validated on site by before / after measurement.
Comparable
spaces
Every project starts with a measurement and ends with another.
Does the noise spoil the session?
We measure outside service hours, install in half a day, and come back to measure once the room is in operation.
