About

Designed and made in France

Since 2016, in Charente-Maritime, France, we have been designing and making every cloud in acoustic wadding, in partnership with the ESAT in Jonzac.

Who we are

A lived observation,
a form born from there

Acloud® clouds were born from a reality and an observation experienced by their designer, Stéphane Demguilhem.

“When I had to work daily in a shared space, I noticed how difficult it was to maintain concentration in the hubbub,” says the director of the Acloud® company. “I then began to identify the different causes of nuisance, including reverberation time (Tr), and to think about a solution that was both efficient and easy to install. It was from there that the idea of the cloud gradually took hold. »

And if the Acloud® solution took the form of a cloud, it is not by chance: it is by seeking to improve the efficiency of existing solutions and to create the ideal form that the cloud was born.

Developed in CAD (computer-aided design), the soft, rounded curves of the cloud are better at absorbing sound than flat surfaces, the latter tending to bounce sound waves.

The material

Wadding
that absorbs
and lights up

A patented PET acoustic wadding from a recycling chain, with calibrated densities, VOC-tested and guaranteed formaldehyde-free, inside a Trevira® CS cover.

This wadding lets light through, and therefore information: it is what makes connected clouds possible: sound level meter, CO₂, presence, circadian lighting.

The team

The
Acloud team

Acloud® was born from an observation and a vision that we could summarize around the six letters of our name.

A

Like theAmbitionof its creator, Stéphane Demguilhem, an entrepreneur and inventor passionate about new technologies and sustainable development.

C

Comme le Confortsound that we all need to work and live together in a shared space.

L

Comme la Freedomof each, which stops where the other begins to make noise.

O

Comme une forme Optimale, that of the curves of the cloud, which absorb sounds much more effectively than flat surfaces.

U

As a soundproofing solutionUniverselle, airy, and easy to install, suitable for all premises and which, unlike the installation of acoustic panels, does not disrupt the organization of work.

D

Comme Sustainable Development, with a product made in France, using completely neutral materials and in a CSR approach.

Let's talk about your space.

We measure, we install, we come back to measure. You only pay for what is proven.
