The noise-canceling and connected acoustic cloud that can be installed anywhere

An acoustic cloud spends its days suspended above people. As if it were meant for something other than absorbing sound.

The starting point

An acoustic cloud is suspended in the right place: in the center of the volume, at a constant height, where the air circulates and where people work. This is exactly the position sought by an ambiance sensor, and no one likes to see another box screwed to the wall.

The idea behind the Nuage Connect comes from this: adding measurement to an object that is already in the right place, rather than adding an object.

What it measures

The module features a CO₂ sensor, a temperature and humidity sensor, and a sound level meter. These three metrics indicate whether a room is habitable and if it is occupied beyond its capacity.

The sound level meter has a particular advantage on our sites: it provides the actual level of the room in use, not just the reverberation time measured once, in an empty room, on the day of the assessment.

Do not disturb mode

A luminous ring turns amber when the sound level exceeds the chosen threshold for the room. It is a collective, discreet signal that does not single anyone out and is usually sufficient to lower the volume of a table that is speaking too loudly.

The threshold adjustment is performed room by room: a meeting room and a work-café do not have the same tipping point.

What it doesn't change

Absorption remains the same as the standard acoustic cloud: same wadding, same thickness, same useful surface. The module fits within the thickness and does not affect acoustic performance.

The installation process remains unchanged: cable suspension, low-voltage power supply, and no intervention on the building.
